CB750c shorter rear fender

Ugo
Hi everyone! I'm new to this forum and starting to build my "new" 1981 CB750c. I'ts my first bike ever. I've search the web over and over and no ones seem to sell or make a shorter rear fender for the DOHC. Is the only option to cut it? Thanx

Pretty much. What you do is get a second fender and then cut one of them and keep the other just in case.
Another option would be to get a fork brace and a fiberglass fender.
Sometimes, you might find old parts floating around. You could also run without the fender and just have a brace. Not the best in rain though
The ride IS the adventure. The destination is just to get gas!

I guess i'll cut it! What's the best way? Draw a line with a marker, drill a bunch of holes on that line, cut the small remaining metal with the dremmel and smooth it out with a grinder??

I don't think I would drill the holes. I think I would mark it out and use a reinforced cutting wheel and try it. A high speed air cutter would work better though. The dremel might not have the oomph to cut through the metal.
