My father worked for Bendix his entire life. They make many products.
They are a big company and they treat the workers with respect.
My father worked on the F4 Phantom landing gear castings.
It was in Indiana.
From the internet today.
Example:
“Bendix has always been a family-oriented company, so it just makes sense to us to
foster a healthy living/healthy lifestyle environment and to provide the tools to our employees
and their family members to help them achieve this goal. Dr. Ann’s enthusiasm and knowledge
provide an exceptional resource to help motivate our employees and reinforce the importance of
wellness as a natural complement to our overall efforts,” said Diane Shields, vice president of
HR and organizational development at Bendix.
On Christmas they would give the workers a large Christmas box packed with food.
That was in 1950. I was too young to know all the details.
When my father died his widow got a retirement check every month so
she was not thrown out on the streets.
That is what i know about that company.
On a Roadstar Adventure.
