Carb intakes

Has anyone taking the carb intakes out, not the rubber but the actual intake that are attached to the head ?
The reason I ask is because one of mine is cracked. If they can be removed with out headaches where can I buy one ?
Thanks

I believe they are threaded in, might take some heat and a big wrench to get one out though. As for finding one, good question. I don't have any damaged heads, or I would give you one. Maybe try some junk yards for a damaged head. Another option would be to have one machined. If you got yours out in one piece, it would not be hard to duplicate.

If it were me, I'd just get it brazed and then grind it smooth on the outside so it still seals.
