Cheap rear suspension?

alehman
So im shopping around for new rear shocks because mine are rusty and dont really absorb shock anymore (they just kind of bounce). On partsnmore i found 85 dollar progressive wound shock absorber sets. You have to scroll down some to see them.

http://www.partsnmore.com/parts/honda/cb750k/?filters%5Bcategory%5D=chassis&filters%5Byear%5D=1979

Can this be right? The sets ive looked at with progressive springs are $200+. Would the partsnmore sets just be the springs or whole shock absorber assemblies? It looks like the latter. What do you guys make of this?

Definitely an entire shock package. They give a clevis to clevis measurement.  Looks like a great price. Its funny how junk is so expensive that when you actually find a decent price it scares you. LOL

Looking forward to hearing about your experience.  If they're any good I'll probably pick them up as well along with some new front springs.

I just picked up progressive fork springs for my fork rebuild this winter and I really wanted to go all the way and get progressive rears as well. One of my big concerns is that partsnmore describes them as heavy duty... not sure I'll be doing a huge amount of two-up or overloaded riding.

Any updates on how these shocks are doing? I've had my eye on them quite some time now... Wondering if they're worth it.

I have had those same shocks on the TOOLmatic for 1 1/2 years now. No complaints, but they are a little on the stiff side, for solo riding.
