Clutch

Do I have to drain the oil from my 750K(77) to service the clutch.
Wanted to know before I pull covers off and don't want it running everywhere.

It's a wet clutch, so there's definitely oil in there.

No, you don't have to drain the oil completely, Just out of the pan. Keep a catch under the clutch as you pull it out for whatever still comes out. Most of the oil stays in the tank.
The ride IS the adventure. The destination is just to get gas!

Actually,if you use the side stand, you won't lose a drop. No need to drain anything.

The center stand may be different,but I've always used the side stand. If you are working on the clutch chances are you need the back tire on the ground to hold still anyway.
