DOHC oil pressure sensor cover

Are these necessary?  Mine is badly cracked and hard.  It will definitely crumble if I take it off, but I can't seem to find a replacement anywhere.

You could always take the sensor out and install your gauge line in that port.

It's not really necessary, but you could remove it, and coat the sending unit with liquid rubber.

Tools is right.  It is just a weather cover, to prevent moisture from affecting the electrical sensor.  Liquid Tape would cover it nicely, or a tube of (black) RTV Silicone.  Cheers!
