Difference btwn models

Hello everyone,
Here is my current dilemma, I have a 1979 cb750ltd. I am looking at picking up a 1980 cb750ss, for parts. The bike is far away, so looking at pics, it looks like the frame may be different. Are there any major differences between these models? Are there any parts that won't interchange with each other?

Cosmetic parts like the tank, and side covers will not, but most anything else will.

The tank won't fit?? Damn it lol my luck. Would I be able to run the seat & tail section from the ss on the ltd?? Are there any diference btwn the 2 frames??

I'm pretty sure the seat mounts are different. However I only have a K, and C model to compare.

will the motor from a 1979 cb750ss interchange with a 1980 cb750k & will the carbs from the 80 cb750k fit on the 79 cb750ss motor , im taking out the 80 cb750k & putting in the 79 cb750ss on the 80 cb750k frame if it will work , i dont have the carbs from the 79 cb750ss

I've got a 79 f, and an 81 C, no, the seat/side covers will not change out.
