Dual front brake

Myumi-2
I have a K2 with a single front disc.

My understanding is the the GL Goldwing of the same era has a dual front disc that can be simply droped in to the K2 (and retain the spedo drive).

Are there any other options to achieving a dual front disc?

Cheers
Tim

That is probably the easiest way to go as you just grab everything from the trees down and swap it.
Otherwise, you need another K rotor, caliper, a speedo drive from a 500/550, longer bolts for mounting the rotor to the hub, a bunch of washers as all though you can bolt the caliper to the right fork leg, the offset is not correct and the washers are used to set it right. Then you also need a larger master as the little K masters could work but are more trouble. An F master would be fine. Also if you need to take off the tires, you must remove the additional brake.
The ride IS the adventure. The destination is just to get gas!

Thanks for that.

With that info I found the following tutorial.
