I bought an CB750 late last winter ..... it went right into storage without me riding her once. It was safetied and registered before resting in a secure, heated building during our cold months. My delivery guy/mechanic just emailed me about an electrical issue that has developed over the winter (it fired up fine for him as part of the safety it). When he reinstalled the battery this week, he found that it will start once, but on next try it keeps popping the ignition fuse. Also, he notes that there is no neutral light, no signals, no power to coils and only low beam headlights. When it was rebuilt, the previous owner used using the original Honda circuit map to make the wiring loom and had no issues all last year after he got it on the road. The previous owner is not close, but I know him to be a stand up guy, so when he says there was no previous issues riding it last year, I believe him. Also, I've been storing bikes my storage guy/mechanic (too busy delivering bikes to sort this out) for 5 years+ so serious doubt he did anything.
Anyone got any thoughts as to what the issue might be, where to start looking, and what to look for? Any tools or products I should have on hand?
I want to get this sorted and get the on the road
