Engine parts interchangeable for CB750K's?

Hi all,

Can I reasonably assume that all engine parts will be interchangeable for the DOHC CB 750K's? Looking to swap a damaged cylinder block on a 1979 with a block from a 1982.

Apologies if the answer to this question is obvious-- I just want to make sure I'm covering my bases.

Yep. All the 750 parts interchange change. The K and the F parts are all the same,too. You can even swap in several 900 parts, but some of those are different.

Good afternoon shiny, do you know if the parts from a 82 750C would fit a 82 750K?  I am looking to replace my cylinder head and I found one online for a good price. I own the K.

The engine related parts will interchange. Head, cams, cylinder.

The 900c had a unique transmission setup, but I'm pretty sure the 750c was still just a standard CB engine and trans. I can't say for certain, though.

Regardless, the cylinder heads are the same.
