They have a list of all the engine types that shows the upgrades/changes with each year...it is also possible to buy a clymer service manual that runs something like 69-78....35 bucks well spent
all 750/900/1100 chain driven engines from 1979-1983 are interchangeable..and most of their components..dont buy a clymer or a haynes,they suck...go to www.cb750c.com and download the honda service manual for dohc hondas 1979-1983 for free..
be sure to check to make sure what year engine you have. the nighthawk engines after 83 were different, and not interchangeable. same for all pre-79 Honda inline 4s, which were SOHC, not DOHC.
