Factory options on 1980 CB750k?

I have a 1980 CB750k that I just purchased the other day. I am trying to find out some of the original info. on the bike. Did they offer any factory upgrades back then. Dumb question I know but i cannot find out much info on the web. From what I found out on the web in 1980 they only made the bike with 85 mph speedo. Mine speedo goes to 140. My bike is white and black but from what I see they only made it in red or black. I originally thought mine was a repaint but under the tank is white, the side guards are white on both sides. I have wire wheels instead of mags. Any help out there. It may indeed just have been a customized 750 but all this stuff looks factory. Thanks,

I have a Canadian 1981 CB750K. My factory speedo is in kph with mph in small letters. I know it goes well past 100 mph, and 145 mph sounds about right. Top speed should be around 125 mph. I thought only the SOHC's had speedos that topped out at 85 mph.

The wire wheels on the K models are standard. The C and F models cam with comstars (mags).

Where are you located? I think I recall seeing some Australian CB750 models with weird fairings coming in white but I could be mistaken.

My SOHC ( '76 F) has a 140 MPH speedo. Not sure which had them and which didn't.

My 80 CBK is white, speedo tops out at 220km/h, ~140 mph, spokes.

holy smokes there she is! That is my bike. Is yours original paintwork? My seat is different and my pipes are chrome but the bodywork is the same. Will post pic tomorrow. Thanks.

Picked up the black side covers yeterday. Still not sure if I like them or not. Do you have the black strip going down the top of the tank?
