What a video on YouTube on how to make a seat. Not bad for my first attempt.

Thanks. Sure, i know many of people have different opinions on pods. I'm not a total gear head so I may not noticed the lack of power if any. I feel the bike is plenty fast and is tuned right. I respect people's opinions, to me these bikes are like art. There's no really wrong way, it's just how you want to customize it and how you use it.

Definitely had that in mind when I made the seat. In the tucked position it's perfect, keeps you in the seat

That seat is beautiful. Exactly what Im trying to create also. Did you made the pan out of fiberglass? I am planning to make a seat without cutting the frame. Looks like you didn't do any cutting also.

Thanks, I didn't want to have to cut the frame but wanted a sleek look. This was why I decided to make my own, the ones you can buy the hump's too high. I shaped it out of foam and fiberglassed it. The seat pan for the cushion was made out of masonite. I lightly wet it down and formed it to the curve. Put something heavy on it for the few days occasionally wetting it. It'll eventually hold it's shape.

Ill be starting to build my own seat soon. Your creation have been exactly what I was looking for. Masonite is a cool idea too. I don't have tools to cut the frame and weld also so this is perfect. A person named Daddy Hoosier built a seat without cutting the frame too. I was about to do it like his but yours more my style. Thanks.

Nice job.

Looks great.

I agree, seats sold around are too humpy and droopy backwards. Already too common as well. Every Honda modified has them.

Yours looks better, more original that the carbon copy others. Plus I agree, no need to cut frame.

If needed, you can have the original seat or modify the original seat as well, to have a sleeker look, yet retaining its length, in case you want to have a passenger. Nothing worse than having a girl interested in ridding along with you, and having to say no. No way.

You can switch as needed. A bike which frame got trimmed, is fine, but is limited for ever.
