Gas mileage

OnyxWolf
So I am getting about 37 mpg. Which is fantastic by way of comparison to my truck, but I feel like I was getting closer to 40-42 with the 81 I had 15 years ago. So I was wondering what others are getting.

That is better then I get with the Toolmatic. I think you lose some mpg with ethanol gas.

Didn't even think about that. So I am probably right on target then.

Thanks.

It really depends on the riding style. However, combo of town/interstate mildly aggressive and I get about 44. On the highway about 60 or so, over 50 mpg.
The ride IS the adventure. The destination is just to get gas!

Like I said in another thread, 52 mpg this last year was the average.
Mostly twisties, not really killin it.

Top the tank off, at 200 miles or so it will start to starve now and then, reserve has always gotten me home.
10, 15 miles at least on reserve.
