Gaskets

I will be reinstalling a valve cover gashet on my dohc 750 and was wondering if anyone would recommend using some rtv or something... or am I better off simply using the rubber gasket alone? Thanks

Depends on your sealing surface. If they are good then the rubber gasket wil suffice. I will sometimes use VERY LITTLE to hold a gasket in place but you should be good. Someone tried to the pry one on mine out with a screw driver and banged it all up.
