Hey there xjr! Welcome! First, go to our download section and you will be able to get the manual there. That should give you a start. After that, if you have more questions, shoot!

Hi and welcome. Here are the paint names for 1981 F models:

1981 750f

black..stripes are red
or
pleiades silver metallic....stripes are black and blue

Source: http://www.cb750c.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=364&highlight=factory+paint+codes

And here's a place to order the decals:

http://www.cbdecals.afegraphics.com/index.php?adminshopping=&cat_id=9

I saw a site that showed pictures of each of the bikes and the different colors but I haven't been able to locate it again.

Edit: I found the site with the pictures: http://www.spookytoms.com/CB750F-PaintColors.html

Re: HI GUYS I,M NEW

just got some new ht leads and new spark plug caps and a set of second hand carbs and a pair of coils for £40 at a bike show i went to at the weekend i think its a bargin . Hopefully this mite help me its running ok but when it get warm and i rev it up the revs won,t drop back down , i don,t think its a air leak sprayed wd40 all around when its running  and the revs don,t pick up only way when warm to drop the revs is to put it in gear and let the clutch out or turn it on and off. then they drop back to normal  I will try the new second hand carbs clean them first and check the main and primary jets are the same hopefully this will sort it out finger,s
