Hand polishing nuts and bolts

After I hand polish is there a good product out there to spray on that can help prevent corrosion a little bit longer?

Clear spray paint will only last about a year, but if the bike is indoors it may last even longer.

Can you recommend a brand?

Paint tends to crack and peel after you tighten the nut with a wrench or socket. I love polished parts but the truth of the matter is that it just requires maintenance. Meguiars makes a product called quick detailer. It works good to keep your stuff cleaned and has a bit of a wax content to it. Its all Ive ever used to clean my bike and my polished parts still look fine 10,000 + miles later

You spray paint them yourselves or do you outsource?

But i think you can't add finishing with hand polishing on nuts & bolts. It could be just possible with spray.

Are these chrome fasteners that you cleaned the rust off or steel that you have bolished?
This is one of the few times I would actually recommend WD-40.
It is not pentrating oil but it is a good protectrant.
but I agree they will require some maintenance. There is no substitue for elbow grease.
