Handlebars Replacement 78 CB750F

How can I find the right handlebars for this bike? I can't find anywhere that lists the handlebars by the specific model, only by rise, pullback, etc, which I don't feel confident about matching the original. Does anyone have a clue what the exact specs are?

Vintagecb750 and cb750supply carry the same handlebars. cb750supply got back with me and said:

"We do not have any that exactly match the original handlebar. The closest that we sell to the original is our #25-1088 and 25-0122."

I can't tell from the dimensions for the rise and pullback how close either is to the original, and I can't find anywhere online the exact dimensions for the original. I'm surprised finding a match for this is so difficult, since I have talked with others who have also said that their handlebars bent when they dropped the bike and needed a replacement. I've checked other online suppliers and haven't found any on eBay either.

I guess I just have to keep checking.

Well no numbers but you should be able to put on a bar from any 77/78 and probably all years and it should be fine. Like I said, no numbers but that opens up a wider range of replacement options.

About 2/3rds down the page. There are 2 listed as being close to stock for 69-71 and 72. You could probably get something close to 1972 and be close to your bike.

Your old bars get bent? You should still be able to measure the rise and general pullback.
If I find any other numbers, I'll let you know.

EDIT, my manual lists the 1977K to have a bar width of 31.5 inches. I am pretty sure my bars are stock and to me, they seem to be close to the 69-71 bars. If I didn't have to have my bike in storage to make room for cars and snowblower, I would measure my bars.

The ride IS the adventure. The destination is just to get gas!

A used 78F bar is on ebay right now (not mine).

The exact handlebar for the 78F was only used on the 77 and 78 F bikes. Yes, others will mount up and/or be a close match.
