Should I be riding and need to stop for gas and turn the beast off . . . should I do something stupid like stall the beast once I'm riding . . . I have a hard time re-starting.
It hardly turns over and if it doesn't catch immediately [it usually doesn't] then there is NO cranking power at all. Waiting 5 - 10 minutes usually gives enough time to re-boot and off I go, but I'm worried that this might not last.
NOTE: it's done this since I've had the thing; and I wind up replacing the battery every year or two [I think it's been a year since the last one; no riding the beginning of last October - beginning of this May].
[edit: should have said that it's an '80 CBK]
