Harley build thread feeler

Ok,so I'm working on a Harley. A couple guys have expressed interest in having a build thread on it. I'm all for it,but I realize it might not sit well with some folks on here. I totally get that. Not a problem.

So here's a temporary feeler thread. Yay or Nay. I dont want to step on any toes,so just holler Nay if you'd rather not have it around. You won't hurt my feelings,I promise.

I'm just wondering how you're going to get a Harley motor to run as good as a Honda. Or leak less. Or smooth out. Or to be less embellished with chrome and extra lights.

There.  I said it. OK it's all out of my system.

To me a bike is a bike. You get the same satisfaction no mater the brand. For me its not about the bike its about the build. I personally own Hondas, Harleys, Suzuki, Yamaha. Go for it I'll follow your build.

Ya, I'm interested in it.

Are you going to be keeping track of costs?  I've always heard that Harley's are ridiculously expensive and I am curious to compare it to hack job.

I see your hell yes, 2 amen's and raise you one Booyah!   I think we should delete the politcs thread and make room for the "Hardly Davidson" build.   (that would be a yay)

But...since I am famous for hijacking threads you might be able to find some Harl...err...Dark Side updates in another thread around here. Sort of a combo build thread For those interested that is

Put a Honda tank on it while you are doing the Build.

Both of my bikes have Harley part on them SSSHHH don't tell any one.

Judging from the post on the forum you a are stand up guy. I myself like checking out the builds. If you decide not to post a build I think we will all under stand. But I don't think anyone would mind a tease picture hear and there. (Maybe a before and after)

My two cents Just sayin

I heard those pipes are a direct fit. I'm on the hunt for a pair. I put a custom exhaust on my wing but it still sounds stock. I heard that sportster seats can be bolted on as well.
