Headlight Brackets: Any experience with these?

Yeah, they're budget pieces, but I kind of dig the look with the holes. Plus I'd change out the mounting hardware. Anyone see a problem with these?

They work fine and are actually very solid once mounted. I've seen tubes rusted from them, but that's typically of any type of fork ear, factory or not, after extended periods of time. I slip a thin slice of rubber under the ones I've used. Ensures they won't slip or scratch your tubes. You aren't going to beat that price, either!

We put these on my dads 175. thing goes up and down gravel roads all day long at full throttle with no problems.

I have a set for my 900 I have yet to install, but the powdercoating is nice, all the parts fit well and seam to be well made.
It's only illegal if you get caught.

If at first you don't succeed, use more lighter fluid

95% of Harley Davidsons ever made are still on the road... The other 5% made it home.

I have a pair of these that have seen a thousand+ miles now. No complaints.  Suggestion: don't buy a cheap headlight, I just feel like the skimp on stuff.  Mine (cheap), has no seal on the bezel so water can get in and (a) rust and (b) screw with the mess of electrical I have tucked in there.
