I hope someone out there can help, I have just done a strip down on the Carbs and would love to know what the static setting should be on the mixture screws?
Also I have attached a picture and would love to know what the small pipe is with the screw in the end of it, somehow it does not look right. As you can guess have recently brought the bike and in the process of a refurbishment.  Bike is a CB750F 1982

Do you have the manual? We have it here. Click to open it and then you can download it. It will have the base number of turns.

That tube with the bolt in it was the vacuum port for the vacuum operated fuel petcock. Just leave it plugged. And as Re-run said, download the service manual from the link at the top of the home page here. It has all the specs, and settings for your bike.
