Honda CB750 carb model number

Japper
OK, I am in the  middle of  a nice CB750C bike rebuild that I bought on ebay.
Question I have is that the carb model number on the side of each carb is VB42DCTB.

Looking at my service manual, it talks about other models such as VB42A or VB42C

Any idea if this is the right one for a CB750C???

I do not want to put too much money on carb rebuild if its not the proper one for the bike!!

Regards

Different years can have differnt carb models. What year is your bike?
The ride IS the adventure. The destination is just to get gas!

Don't waste your time or money on aftermarket carb kits. Just buy new gaskets and o-rings. The metal parts in most aftermarket kits are junk and the original honda parts will clean up just fine!!!!

I agree with you, paid big bucks for the full kit before taking the carbs apart. Old parts would have cleaned properly with carb cleaner solution.

Gaskets and rings and acc pump & air cut off diaphram did however, need replacement

Tnx
