Honda K2 Frame

Hi guys, am a new member thought to introduce myself, I call myself steve750four, living in the seventies the beginning of all super bikes, I live in Western Australia, in a town call Mandurah about one hours drive south from Perth. I have four Honda CB 750 fours, two K2`s a K7 and a K6 the K7 is restored and one K2, I have just started on my other K2 but am confused with the frame,I will try and explain, at the front of the frame coming down from the steering head down the bottom just before the frame disappears under the motor there are two like block brackets on either side, plus on the tail frame on either side under the seat there are also mounting brackets for something, I have seen many of those old Honda's but cannot work out what those brackets could be for, or if the frame is off an ex cop bike or is a imported one, when I get the hang of how to use the forums I will post some photos, the frame No. is CB 750 2083078

Well hard to say but I would guess it is something custom. The front could have been for a some special fairing but hard to say. The back could have been for struts at one time. When you can, put up some pics and that will shed some light I bet.

It may be possible (but cant say for sure without pics) that someone modified it to be a dress bike like the silverwings ETC. An old police bike is also possible.
