Is there an expert that can run through the various models of the 750 models? For example: where does the K model and C model fit in relative to the F model?? I'm specifically interested in the 82 year. Knowing would help in parts looking and buying. Thanks

all 3 are quite different yet very similar. all three have different sytle tanks side panels and i think brake lights. motors are the same maybe a different jet or 2 for the f series i think the k and c had drum rear brakes f series has disc all around. after 1980 i think the front forks changed a bit. i think they went to air, yadda yadda its a long list of little things and a small list of big things.

Yes you are right. There are subtle differences between the K, F and C. The C which never came to Austalia has cosmetic differences. The K and F are one and the same machine with a different fuel tank and side covers. The front forks ( Australian Models never had air - SAE30 oil in them) andthe rear brakes were drum , but later models were fitted with twin front disc brakes and then towards the end of production a disc brake was fitted to the rear. The carb jetting for the F is the same as the K, but the rear sprocket was different by about four teeth - giving it tremendous low down acceleration, but with a sacrifice in top end performence and fuel economy.

OK, So the F and K models should be mostly compatable in parts except the tanks, covers and sprocket? I can substitute most parts of a K bike with my F type? Also I notice there is a CB750F1 and CB750F2...What is the diference here? Man I have so much to learn but I need parts and if the K & F are compatable that would help me out.

Ok, lets see what we can do. Starting with the Honda CB750K and the CB750F. 98% of the parts are interchangeable. Thats the good news. Whats not interchangable are the fuel tank and the side covers, although if you have an F series tank and both side covers then you are in luck. The frame for both bikes are exactly the same. The engine is the same. The exhaust system is different ( and genuine replacement parts are available ) the K has a four into four system while the F has a four into two system, and if my memory serves me right the rear tail light assembly on the F maybe different from the K. Remember that both these engines are the Double Overhead Cam . I assume that the CB F1 and F2 are similar models, but what year are they???? Also Honda came out with the first four cylinder inline engine which has a SOHC motor. Can you give me dates of manufacture of the CB F1 and F2 and if it is a DOHC or SOHC motor. Got any photos you can send me. That will help enormously.

Just done some research and found that the Honda CB F1 and F2 were made from 1991.-1995. Totally different bike to your Honda CB750K and F series. No comparison at all.
