1979 cb 750 help

i just got this bike for 50 buks the guy said it was running. i dont know anything bout bikes its my first one and i want to find out were to find parts and wut model is it if any one can help me. i need new seat gas tank it has no keys so that to and lot of  other lil things to but i dont know wut madel to get the parts from.

Personally I have already put it in the too hard basket. First you need a fuel tank CB750K or F, then you need the seat - the list is endless, but persevere, as you might just hit the jackpot If its a CB750 I know where you can get a brand new never been used fuel tank for 1200Euros, a new seat for about $299 chain and sprockets from jtsprockets.com. The list is endless. Good luck in your search for the rest of the parts - like side covers, almost impossible to get anywhere. Wiring loom is available - have seen it on the `net but cant remember exactly where. Make a list of eveything you need and I`ll do a systematic search in my spare time to see what I can find for you.

hey there seeing noone answered your question. it looks to me to be the k series. there are alot of parts missing i wont lie about that. ebay has just about everything you will need. and yes there are side panels on there, well at least there was a few days ago. as for the tank your in luck if you are in the USA i have one i picked up in really good shape few light dings but can easily be filled and repainted if you are interested ,reasonably priced.

i will sell it for $ 50 plus what ever shipping comes out to be i have a gas cap and the latch for the cap as well but you are going to need the machined screws for it. which you can find at home depot. i dont however have the fuel petcock. i will get you pictures of it asap. shoot my your email address. its got crappy brown paint on it which i will strip off if you want before i send it. the dings are light and an easy fix. oh and i dont have the side honda tank emblems. i filled the side of my f series tank and im about to but honda decal instead. i looks better if you ask me
