I'd guess the engine weighs around 200lbs by itself.

Tools, do you know how much power the primary chains on these bikes will hold up to? And what about the torque converter? For the idea I have brewing a 'matic would make life easy. But I gotta make sure it'll hold up to the power first.

From what I understand your standard manual tranny 750 sohc makes about 67-72 hp at the crank. I've heard that the matics makes 45 to the rear tire ( roughly 55-60 for a 5 speed). So i'm guessing matics and manual are both making about the same hp as each other?

The torque converter, and transmission parts are the same ones used in the early Honda Civics. If parts are ever needed just go to the Honda car dealer, and order them. However I have never heard of any failing on these bikes. Even when drag racing with very high HP.

I'll be parting this out soon. So if anyone needs anything stay tuned. I'm gonna blow it out cheap to clean up my floor. Currently the motor is stuck and undergoing PB Blaster treatment... Prognosis:bad.

I need the chrome do-hicky that goes on the torque converter cover, and the kick starter if you have it.

No kick starter bud, but the doo hickey looks pretty decent. Don't worry, you'll get first screening of the parts. :). You might want this wiring harness. Not a single cut wire anywhere! Completely unmolested. Ill put up an ad this evening
