You can indeed push start a dohc. I have done it with mine many times.
The catch is that the battery can't be too low. However, there is some space between when the battery won't run the starter and when the bike won't run at all.
Hope this helps. If you're battery is fully charged you should be good to go.. By the way, be prepared for a workout -its quite tiring!

I used to reside right between Winacrack, and Rensseltuckey, I would rather have a sever beating then go back. However I was in the area two years ago, and it had gotten even worse then I remembered. Did stop in at Kersting's Cycle Center, and visited some old friends though.

Iwill, but I haven't even found the right bike yet! If I lived out west, or up north, I see plenty for sale, here in the southeast, the only ones I see for sale are rusty heaps selling for the same price as running bikes everywhere else! :( I'm still looking. :)
