I need a seat-Help

I am to the point of needing to put a new seat on the 72 to finish the project. My seat pan is toast so I cannot use what I have. Any suggestions on where to get a cheap seat?

Wood and foam is cheap....

Seriously though, there is actually quite a bit you can do with a wood base, some fibreglass and foam.

If you can fabricate metal then you do a lot more. It all depends on your budget. All of the aftermarket seats I've seen to purchase have been high end.

Salvage yard might also be a good option.

I have a seat that I am 99% positive fits your bike. It had been grafted onto a 77 CB 750 F when I got it. I will check to see if it fits an early frame tomorrow, for you.
