Is it a Honda wheelbarrow?
Also I had a neat thing happen to me at Home Depot today. I went in to get some paint thinner, and when I went to check out, the cashier was a girl I had classes with last year. Small world.

Round round, I get around, get around round round, I get around....

Yup, definitely a small world.  A while back my wife and I were at Kings Island amusement park.  We sat down on a bench to eat our lunch, and I looked at the people at the other end of the bench.  Turns out I worked with the guy about 15 years before.  On that summer day, with all those people, after all that time... pretty amazing.

Serendipitious, isn't it?

here's one for you:

a few years ago I was flying to a wedding. problems with connections, etc, a real drag. was at the desk and the attendent said "we can get you on this flight -- go!" and called the gate to stay open while they rushed me there.

got to the boarding area, they were holding the plane for me; went in and the thing was almost empty but they had put me at the back beside someone [walked by rows of empty seats to get there]. sat down -- beside the brother of the groom.

A few years ago I was walking down the hall of my high school when a girl taps me on the shoulder and says are you Charlie Polcher? I go yeah.... Turns out we went to elementary school together and were friends in a really small town in Minnesota (Alexandria) and this event took place in Flagstaff Arizona. Pretty random!

OK, since this has become one of those 'you won't believe who I ran into' threads....I was sitting in a bar out west of where I live, when in walks my best friend from high school! We graduated in 1986 and this was in 2009. Neither of us ever lived in that town before, and it was the first time I was at that bar. He just returned to FL from living in CA for a few years. We had so many drinks that night talking about the old days and what's happened since. Good times.

On a similar note...the "you won't believe what happened to me" thread....I was making deliveries to a shopping plaza today, and as I dropped off about a dozen magazines to the local women's hair salon, the very hot girl behind the counter said "Ooh, I hope theres smut in there!" and her equally hot coworker looked at her and smiled and said "oh yeaaaaahhhhhh!". Then they both looked at me. Couldn't get that out of my mind the rest of the day, including now. Damn.

An Aussie friend of mine was crewing a motor yacht off the tip of Baja California, turning the dial on the marine band radio and whistling into it.   A refrigeration vessel out of Sydney answered.  Turns out my friends Brother was third mate on the refr. ship.  The guy on watch went below and woke his Brother up and they were able to talk awhile on the radio and catch up.  So, what are the odds?
            Cheers,   Elliot
