Idle knob has no effect...

brad063072
Hey guys.  Quick question...can anyone tell me what the reason might be for why my idle adjustment knob not changing the idle?  Whether I screw it in, or whether I screw it out, neither direction makes the idle go up or down.  The knob USED to work prior to me pulling the carbs to clean and rebuild them.  For some reason it's not working at all now though.  Any thoughts/ideas???

Thanks!

What RPM is it idling at now? You probably have a vacuum leak.
