Hey Guys, I'm rebuilding/cleaning up a 1978 CB750K with 17K miles on it. Got it about a month and a half ago and it's in great shape mechanically....a few little cosmetic things need to be done but mostly just normal maintenance and cleaning/polishing. I not familiar with how to set the points and timing the engine, I wanted to get some opinions about going to a PAMCO electronic Ignition or if I should stay with the points? I do want to learn how to set the points/timing before I change that way I will know how to do it but I'm not sure if I should just stay with them? Does anyone have experience with the Pamco ignition kit or is there something better out there?? Thanks guys I appreciate the help.
