Yea. Freddie, and a few others. I just happened to see it on CL tonight, and had to check it out. I had not seen one with the training wheel kit before. I took it, for a ride. Really surprised me as to how snappy it is.

I have been getting the itch to get another bike. I don't know if I can talk the missus into it. I've been looking at the early 80s Silverwing Honda bikes. Pretty affordable, decent power and balance, but some have head gasket issues. One of the early Gold Wings would be cool for 2-up riding and long distance cruising, but they are a bit pricey the newer they get.
Then there's some of the other makes.

Used to have a 1979 CB750L, sold it as a parts bike, now riding a slightly modified 1984 VT700C. Network/Field Engineer. Central OH, USA, Earth, Sol System, Milky Way Galaxy, Universe.

Luke' the water pumps are also something to look out for on the silver wings. Look where the water pump mounts to the engine and look to see if any rust stains are near the weep hole, if so the seals need replaced which means pulling the motor. Run it too long that way and water will get into the crank case.

"Then there's some of the other makes." What other makes? I have seen late 70's early 80's Goldwings going, for $1200 to $2200 here in great shape. Those old Goldwings are still a great bike, and reliable as an anvil. TOOLS
