picked up another motor.  Maybe rebuild this one down the road.
Cycle X has a couple of oil tanks that also hold the battery or we may make one.
Probably make a box to fit inside the frame to hold the electric stuff.

I haven't made the pieces to weld to the frame yet.  Waiting on another seat.  The Softail seat doesn't quite get it.  It's too tall in the back.  I've got a stock seat off my Road King coming from Indiana (that's another story).  Planning to use just the solo seat.

Re: Legion Rider Bike build

I thought about that.  The seat is in two pieces with a common pan.  Would be easy enough to do.  I'll try the Road King seat first and then go from there.

Sorry but you need a fuller fender to run a bigg seat or
it just wont look right,Just because a seat looks like a pillow don't mean it will fill like one,A seat breaks you azz in , not you break it,If it's a good seat.
I'd trade them off for a solo seat with springs get a suction cup pillion for the "B" seat ,then your flat fender will work. We all have a look we like ,I have no idea what your looking for ,maybe keep shoping

Well, since you askedThe does look comfy...but very large.I like the tank and fender you have now,the seat seems to over power the whole bike, though.A pan seat with springs would look way cool IMO.All in all,I think you're on the right path

+1 to the Shinytorso suggestion. It all depends on where the focus is. You want people to look at a well painted gas tank, you probably don't want anything else competing for the attention.  Both Harley seats look WAY too big, in my opinion.

I may look into one of those spring-type seats for my Shadow.  Still not happy with the stocker, but it's serviceable for now.

Re: Legion Rider Bike build

(TOOLS)  Ha Ha.  That was my first comment

(Piute)  Yep, solo seat for sure.  Not planning on using a B seat at all

(shivribs)  Probably go with something like you have pictured.

(Lukem)  Focus will be on the tank.

The whole theme of the bike will be patriotic.  Planning on a waving flag on the tank and some military stuff on the fenders.  It will mainly be used for parades and funerals.  Mostly short trips.

Just thought I might get lucky with the two seats we had available.  So it's off to the seat store. (It's only money)

I'm thinkin also, it may not be that difficult to make seat.  That would sure follow the lines of the bike.

Thanks alot for all your input.   This is our first attemp at someting like this so any comments, good or bad are welcomed.   Even a " hey dumbass, what are ya thinkin" will be appreciated.

                                                  Thanks again
                                                          Carl
