Looking at a new bike tomorrow.

Lincoln Highway Bullitt
I'm going to go look at and test ride a new bike tomorrow. Well it's a leftover 2013 CB1100. I never owned anything new before so I am really excited and nervous. The only change I like about the 2014s is the exhaust. They are 4 into 2 not 1 like the 2013. The seat is stitched a little different but I kinda like the 2013 better. The 2014 is a 6 speed but I do not know if would be needed for my riding style anyway. I'm not a high speed rider. I like to get up to speed really quick but cruise then. I hope the test ride will be enough for me to decide.
Making Laps, Twisting the Throttle and Cruzz control, it just don't get any better!

That is a really pretty bike. Really catches the look of the old dohc very well. I hope it rides as well as it looks!

I was drooling over on one of those in the local dealership over the winter. It really was a comfortable seating position. I think you could easily ride one of those bikes for very long distances with no trouble at all.

Looks aside, I prefer the sound of a 4-1 vs a 4-2. Just sounds more sporty IMO.

Good luck with your shopping.

Well I took it for a test ride and fell in love. It was everything I dreamed of and more. Now this is coming from a guy that has never rode a bike newer then 1980. Wow has the technology come a long way. The brakes and suspension are unbelievable. The end result though. I didn't get it. Financially the timing is not right. I have 2 more years to pay on my house then it will be a lot easier. At least I was in heaven on 2 wheels for 20 min or so during the test ride.

You can read all you want about a bike in a magazine, but it isn't the same as hearing it directly from a person. I was hoping it would be awesome.
