B-Heat ,I've had a couple of 77 KZ 750 B(the "B" was 2cyl.)They were both stk. and paid 400. for 1 and 750 for the other, both needed the basic bull and tires of course,These bike are lighter and easier to handle,Low end torx was fast and fun,The CB has the low torx but not there as fast as the KZ,.    Know this could open up a whole can of beans I read articles that the 750B was the fastest production bike (model compared to I don't know)for it's model,My "77" F2  fills a whole lot safer going over 100 then those KZ ever did,But they were my fun running "Bobbers"(stock bikes)

The other can't find pictures,BUT my brother has been fulling with it lately

I have to agree with Tools, I have gotten some ribbing from friends that a 750 is too big to learn on and that Im going to fail. Doesnt matter to me what they think, its my bike and I have to learn on something. I wouldnt have been happy getting something smaller, and Ive always been a fast adapter from 26' box trucks to a moped to an atv. Whatever makes you happy, fits your budget and feels right. Thats what you should go with. Be smart, spend wisely, set a budget and use the remainder for a driving course and good gear.
