Yes I have used his forks before, but I always went the other direction. I would lower the forks in the triple trees until it had the stance I wanted. Then measure how much was sticking up.

I slipped my tubes Lil over an inch

so my feet would reach the ground better ,Worked but after getting rear shocks springs down 2 full rings ,I was able to put the tubes back to were they should be. Saved me a lot of cash, for now, till I can get some Quality New one's. So lowering the front wasn't needed,

ok wait, so what exactly is the point of shortened fork tubes?? Do you pair those up with shortened spings in order to lower your bike? and when you purchase them from Frank, is all youre getting is just the actual chrome tubes? or do you get brand new complete forks? The more I think about this the more sliding my forks up sounds better...and cheaper!? lol

A lot of guys will slid the forks up, and then install clip-ons where the forks stick out of the triple trees.

Sliding them up is free and takes about 2 minutes to do.You can change your mind and raise/lower your bike at will.99% of people will never notice the tubes sticking up,the 1% that does see what you did won't rib you about it.If you lower your tubes and it handles funny all you have to do is slide the tubes back to their original location.Plus,I'm a big fan of stock parts.Love stock parts.Stock lasts

Just move the fork tubes up in the triple clamp. One inch .
Just do not go overboard,or the clearance under the bike could
ruin your expensive exhaust system on a bump in the road.

Good point on ground clearance Donald. My bike is stock height and has bottomed out a couple times on speed bumps before i started being more careful. Not cool, and sorta embarrassing.
