Missed opportunity

Went to an industrial auction on Sunday.  They were selling lots of automotive stuff, including stuff in sheds and storage lockers.  Most were closed up, especially the one I was most interested in.

Turns out one of the sheds went for $140.  Inside was a mostly restored CB450. You couldn't tell what was in there, as it was hidden in the front of the unit.  I'm kicking myself.  That would have been a great find.

Ah well.  The sour grapes response would be "There's not enough room in the garage for it anyhow."

LukeM, the latest star on "Storage Wars"?  Just remember to keep your eye on the lockers, and avoid the pissing matches with Jarrod, Dave, and 'the Gambler'.  The only reason they act so foolish in buying, is because the show pays them to be foolish.
Cool, Baby.  Just stay cool...  And watch out for Barry!  Cheers!

My wife quit her full time job in her cubicle (unemployment compensation business), and does auctions and estate sales for eventual online selling (auctions, EBay, Etsy).  As a result, she buys stuff and I load it in her Pacifica.  You can make a profit, if you know what you're looking for, and what you can get for it.  I've picked up some bits and pieces for my garage this way.  Small compressor, good Sears/Craftsman impact wrench (new in box, $20), tools, all kinds of stuff.
