Motorcycle Repair Wiki?

Dude. I love this forum. Everyone is so really helpful here.

Does anyone know if there is a wikipedia-style repository for motorcycle repair?

I really love nice little how-to's like the one I saw here.

Now surely most repairs have been written about many times over. There's really only so many ways you can replace a regulator on a 1980 CB750, or to re-grease your front brake caliper bolt.

I don't recall ever seeing a mutable webpage, where future posters could edit the how-to. Imagine if the OP got some little facet wrong, or didn't clarify exactly about the procedure, wouldn't it be awesome to go in there and fix it?

Does anyone else know of a site like this?

LOL it would be like the riders book of bike repair. Ther owners all ban together and make there own repair book.

If everyone wanted to do this, I have no problem with that. Of course we would need to do it by model. 69-78 sohc, 79-83 dohc, and so on.
If some interest comes about with some write ups, I will see if I can get access to an online wiki.

Yes that is true we would need to do it by engine type. They changed allot on these when they converted from Single overhead to dual. even the carbs are different. Do we have a member/s that are going to do a full rebuild of there bike?
pictures of the bike being torn down and rebuilt would be useful to the users. They couuld refer to the pictures in the wikki instead if having to take there own.
