My 77 cb750f2

Hello everyone, I'm a first time poster long time lurker. I ended up getting my uncle's 77 cb750 F2 that he bought back in 89'. He parked it in my grandfathers barn in 92' and it's been sitting ever since. After a couple weeks of work I was finally able to get it running and road ready. So now all it needs is a new rear MC, a new or used exhaust system, and some resto and it will be good as new. Here are some pics.

You'll want to check all the rubber bits. Make sure you get those tires replaced. They will be hard and have little traction and be VERY unsafe!

Give it a good clean up and let us see.

So far the only rubber that has been replaced is the gas tank rear. Everything else seemed to be good, including the carb and airbox boots.

I didn't even think about the tires. I was going to change the front one at the end of the season anyway, but the back only has half a season on it. Thanks for the info though. I'll get them both changed as soon as I can.

It isn't the miles, it is the age. After about 5 years, a motorcycle tire has lost a lot of grip and gets hard.
