OK, well I have not seen anyone use a gsx front, not to say it hasn't happened, I've just never seen it.
Your 3 main areas are going to be bearings/spacers, neck, axle, and wheel.
You'll need the tree from the gsx and forks, of course. From there, they will "probably" fit the neck of the cb, you will need to find the right size of bearing. Easy way to do this is just get the O.D. size of the CB750 bearing, and the I.D. size of the gsx bearing. Then see of anyone makes a bearing that size. It is probably likely since the japanese manufacturers use a lot of similar sizes, except yamaha, they like to screw people up with their reverse threads and crap.
You will also need the axle for the gsx as it likely threads into the axle holder, the old cb750s do not. SO, you will need the same as above, the O.D. of the cb750 wheel bearing, and the I.D. of the gsx wheel bearing.
This next part may be tricky, you need spacers to align the front wheel with the calipers. Remember, the outer part of the bearing turns, so the spacer should not touch that part, only the inner race. This is further compounded by having to get get the spacing on the rotor right, especially if you decide to go with dual calipers.
It will be a fair amount of trial and error. Us washers to initially figure out the width of spacing you will need, so you don't buy a shit-ton of spacers.
I would also frequent bike salvage yards for parts. Best I can give you, maybe someone else will have seen it and know more.
The ride IS the adventure. The destination is just to get gas!
