The o-ring thing sounds complicated,but its not. I did it so that should tell you something. You will need a few new gaskets,though.Unless you can find suitable gasket maker to use in their place. That decision is up to you.
Here is a link to walk you thru it.It really is very simple to do. The cover for the counter shaft oiler IS a pain to get off. You will most definitely need an impact driver for this,at the least.More then likely you'll have to cut the screws out and replace them.So,maybe do the oil pump o-rings first and see if that helps.
