my project

roach1992
these still look like they are saveable     got this bike from my dad because he didnt want another project, the last time this bike was on the road was in 85. The engine still spins freely and you can hear the compression. Its just missing a couple things, but I dont think its is going to take to much work concidering its condition is still decent. I will be posting pictures as i work on this and hopefully i will be riding soon.

Looks like the perfect project-enough there that you won't have to hunt for everything, but plenty left to do to make it your style.

That is a loooong kickstand! And a very cool rear fender!

yeah i eventually plan making it a cafe bike, but for now i just want to get it running. The rear fender is what would throw me off when I would try to look up the bike at first. From my understanding the japanese used these ones as police bikes and one of the things I came across was the turn signals, the style that i have were last used on 74's unless it was a police bike. Im not sure how accurate that is but it would be pretty cool if it was one.

Everything is in english, someone could have possibly changed the lenses to the older ones, but i have no way of knowing. When i tried to look up the vin nothing would come up. It does say manufactured in japan...

Cool, did it come with carbs, or are you going to have to find some for it?

The fender is some sort of aftermarket Harley, and the turn signals look like they are off a Kawasaki.
