New Guy

bhh1989
Ok. Another new guy here. Picked up 2 CB750's in one day at two dif locations locally, spotted both in ppl's yards out on a bike hunt - the odds of that lining up are wild. Anynow, ones a titled 75 model (I assume 75 since the frame says 74) CB750F, the other is a non-titled rolling chassis 74 model (once again assuming since frame is 73) CB750K. First questions: I've noticed the paint under the blue spray bomb of the CB F is orange like the paint on the rolling chassis CB K. Did these two models have the same paint color bc that would be amazing since the rolling chassis' paintwork is almost prestine. Also, are there any immediate incompatabilities btw the parts with these two models? Thanks guys... as you can see I have quite a lot of work ahead of me for a rough introduction into the CB world..

Welcome to the forum. Great finds! Yes the bikes were offered in the same colors, and everything will crossover. However it might require several cans of PB Blaster.

Ah, I ran the vin numbers and the titled one is actually a 1975 CB750 K5. Not sure where I got the F from, I think the airbox said CB750F. Yea well, I was excited about the supersport bit but it's still an ok find. Yes, I will need PB blaster by the gallons. Wish I could just dip the whole thing in a vat of the stuff..
