You can just ignore tools, he just wants your bike! Now, I can keep it in a garage for you. It would be safe there. I would even ride it, you know, to keep the seals good and oil fresh!

Anyways, how many miles does it have? The later F bikes had an aggressive valve angle that would wear out quickly. Now, yours may have already had a valve job with newer parts and so might be ok.
Just watch it and test compression and look for burning oil. If it is all good, ride it then and just keep up on maintenance. Use good oil such as rotella T 15-40 or the rotella synth 5-40 like I use.
The ride IS the adventure. The destination is just to get gas!

Thank to both of you for your generous offers to take my bike of my hands.

The odo is reading in the 46xxx range.  The kid I bought it from got it from a cafe shop who I am pretty sure did an engine swap or major engine work.  I have to check the vin and decode it.

Yeah oil will be key ... and brake fluid seeing on how the front reservoir is dry and my guess is the rear is too.

Any suggestions for a good chain lube ... like everything else on the bike it too is dry.

I use a product called "Chain Wax". I get it at the locale Honda dealer. i like it because it stays on the chain, and does not flt all over the wheel, and bike.

Any idea what this gauge is actually monitoring?

Also did an oil change on her.  Dip stick was coming up dry but i was still able to drain some from the tank and down by the filter.  When filling everything back up it only took 2 qts and is pretty high up on the dipstick.  Am I missing something cause i thought its a 3.5 qt engine?

That gauge is for oil pressure. I am only familiar with the Automatics, but I am sure Re-run will chime in on your oil level.
