Got the new 73 CB750 last night.
Not as clean as I was hoping for.... but does appear to have everything as far as engine work and wheels.
Is a small dent in the tank that was not disclosed...I don't understand why someone wouldn't fess up when specifically asked.
Live and learn I guess.
A broken electrical cable to the left hand grip, I think for turn signals.
Generally needs to be cleaned and given attention.
The clutch control is extremely stiff.
The good ...Starts instantly and sounds generally mean.
No ticking or rattle or smoke.
The rims are 19"
Borrani Record aluminum made in Italy. (I think these may be collectible)
I have a receipt for the engine work that was completed.
Big Bore kit, Cam, New Valves, New Springs, and various other things.
The receipt for the engine work shows that it was completed in 1978 in Saginaw Michigan.
The labor rate was 12 dollars an hour...wish you could get this work done today for 12 dollars an hour.
At this point I'm not sure what I want to do with the bike.
Like I said it needs some TLC and some restoration, but it has good bones, so to speak.
