New to the forum! Carb question.

turkdc
I have a keihin vb42b carb on my honda.  The idle jets are pressed in deeply in the tube in the carb bodies.  Is there a way to remove these without destroying the jets?  I am having a heck of a time cleaning them as they are...  Any help will be appreciated!

I do not know about your carbs for absolute sure but my 78 carbs have the press in idle jet. I wrapped some cloth around them and grabbed them with a pliers and twisted and pulled. Maybe post the type of bike they come from and you might have more luck.
The ride IS the adventure. The destination is just to get gas!

I appreciate the advice, the problem is my idle jets don't stick out of the tube.  There is nothing to grab with pliers.  I am considering just drilling them out and replacing them...
