Sidecar, trunk and bags

I need help. I bought this 1970 CB750 in 1981 and parked it in my garage (still running) in 1985, after all it was just an old bike and the XS1100 was new and fast. To the best of my knowledge I am the 2nd owner. The saddle bags, trunk and sidecar all fit together perfectly, as though it was factory, not like someone jerry rigged it together. I cannot find any markings as to the mfg. on the sidecar, trunk or bags. The paint job on the sidecar is what the whole bike originally had. I unfortunately threw the original fairing away and put a windjammer on it. Can anyone tell me what I have. Is this a rare piece of motorcycle Americana? I know the bike is a classic but what about the rest? I like the idea of restoring it but will need to get pricing and figure out if it is worth it. ANY advice, knowledge etc. will be appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. I did put up the same info on sohc4 and am waiting for replies. Alot of people have know idea what the side car and bags are, but everyone seams to like them. I am located in southern Cailfornia. If you are really interested I can send you better resolution pictures and of whatever part of the bike you want to see. I don't know yet if I will sell it. I want to first find out info on what I have and on what I would have to pay someone else to restore it, as I don't have the time myself to do it.

Side cars never caught on. Main reason is that your bike is no longer a bike so to speak. That is, it rides differently.
The site he gave you is for a very large forum aimed at the sohc in line 4 bikes, 350, 400, 500/550, 650, and 750.

I used to frequent the site a lot however; while some of them do have a lot of good info, you pay for it with a lot of egos. Some are so bad that even when they are wrong, they can't admit it, even if you can produce proof, they just block you. Ask me how I know!

It was pretty sad for me to leave, I was on there for over 4 years. I chose the name re-run more or less to symbolize a new start. This site is much smaller but since I took it over back in March, the amount of info available on it has increased dramatically from what it used to have. With the constraints I have, I am quite proud of it. We keep slowly gaining members but many are not regulars.

So I am more than happy when a new person drops by.

Like I said though, the sohc4 site has a lot of good info. Info that is not here, yet anyways.
I understand if a person goes there. When you need help, you need help.

what you have is amazing and well worth restoring no matter what the cost. the bike alone restored goes for 2 to 3 grand with the side car i could not even tell you how much it would go for. ive been looking for a side car for mine and they are nowhere to be found.the trunk not so much or the sadlebags i would take them off and just restore the bike and side car. all i know is if i had the side car it would be priceless. thanks for showing it.

 The hard bags are Honda, let me get a hold of my friend and send her a pic she's in Iowa and makes custom side cars ,Her knowledge is unbelieveable when it comes to side-cars and old H.D. stuff also send you her "E".

 I'm with Chrome Ribs,I was interested in the other but didn't like the on line attitudes at all,easy talk on line when you in another country or just a worm,I choose here and glad I did now your stuck ,<smiley image='smicause I don't know enough about these bikes to leave ,sure I can find all I need on line some-wheres but here is more personal and making on,line friends,>may never meet some over sea's Or the guys in Canada but you can bet 750.00$ I'll see the the ones in states next to mine and a bit father Daddy-O

I've been told that the bags are Harley bags. I really want to get a price on restoring the whole thing. I'd love to ride it again, it was one of the smoothest bikes I've had. I'm afraid it might cost to much and I might end up selling as it sits.

   and useing a car is lots of fun when you no that your ridder is safe,Check Marys prices for her basic
