No ignition lights no power

DrewNorth
Just rewired the harness in my  '75 CB550k, worked fine for a minute, running lights, brake lights head lights, and then it died,  (the engine) simultaneously or so I thought when testing the directional winkers. However, since then,  there is no indicator neutral or oil light when ignition is in on position. New battery, fully charged, fuses are fine. My "friend" who helps me work on the bike gave me new coils and a keyed new ignition switch, the coils look too big for the mount, but aside from these facts I am stumped, all connections are new...if anyone could shed some light I would be grateful

You probably lost the main fuse. You need to get a test light and start testing along the circuits until you find the break. You could have a dead battery or bad loose connections on the battery cables. It is hard to believe it, but every bike I work on has loose battery terminal connections. I do not think anyone but me has a screwdriver, wrench, or socket that fits the battery bolts. Anyway, just start tracing the circuits. They are like plumbing pipes, they run from one circuit to another.

Thanks, will do!, ya...its a hard scrabble but working my way through, funny that it just stopped dead after a perfect strong start with the pushbutton idling about a minute or two. Thought maybe it was indicative of a common problem. Will update if I find the offending member. The battery is new has been remounted with a ground on the bare frame and is well connected. As a matter of fact just killed the the terminal on a cheap multimeter trying to test it...lol

A dirty or loose fuse holder is a common problem also.
