I have an Atlas from 1947. It shows Rt 66. I have been on some of it in NM, AZ, and CA. Would love to ride it across MO someday.

Found this step by step (turn by turn) plus things ya gotta see in shaded(brn.)
http://www.historic66.com/missouri/det-mo4.html
May take me all day ,Doing all the stops, Route 66 Drive In ,heard of old new Motel being redone.  ..May have to just go to church on way back since it starts at 1pm,going to be in 100's again ,So would be good cooling off as well as refreshing the soul.
  Now getting excited a bit,guess I need a "T"-shirt for the trip .

All because I spent to much $$$ on bike during the month and have to use drop box to pay fine by 23rd,.....DARN..
